THE MATH

Nine cables. Three of them only charge things.

Pull your desk away from the wall and count. Phone cable. Watch puck. Earbud cable. Three plugs, three sockets, three things to unpack in a hotel room at 11pm.

They do one job each. One block does all three.

WE READ THE 1-STAR REVIEWS

Every complaint about folding chargers, and what we did

Five things people actually write after buying the £19 version. Check these against any charger you are looking at, not just ours.

£19 clone

You plug it in at 11pm. You wake up to 38%. It slid off the magnet somewhere around 2am and nothing told you.

AeroGrid

N52 neodymium, not the N35 in the cheap ones. Holds through a 3mm case. Pick the phone up and the whole station comes with it.

£19 clone

It runs warm by 3am. You end up reading forum posts about lithium degradation instead of sleeping.

AeroGrid

A thermal chip samples voltage and temperature continuously and throttles output before the glass gets warm to touch. Foreign-object detection too, so a coin on the pad is not a hotspot.

£19 clone

Six weeks of folding and the hinge develops a wobble that never goes away.

AeroGrid

Metal-core hinge, rated 10,000 cycles. That is twice a day for thirteen years. If it fails inside twelve months we ship a new one.

£19 clone

You tap the screen to dismiss a notification and the whole thing tips over.

AeroGrid

Weighted base, locked viewing angle. Type on it, swipe on it, take a call on it. It stays put.

£19 clone

No wall plug in the box. Nobody mentioned that anywhere before you paid.

AeroGrid

You need 18-20W USB-C. It is written here, on the product page, and in the FAQ. Add ours at half price, or use the one in your drawer.

Four things worth checking on any charger

Ours, or the one you are comparing it to.

Magnet grade

Listings say strong and mean N35. N52 is the grade that holds through a case at 3am.

Thermal management

A pad with none just pushes current until something gives. Ours samples and throttles.

Hinge construction

All-plastic goes first. Metal core survives being folded twice a day for years.

Adapter honesty

Almost none include a plug. Almost none say so. Check before you pay, on any listing.

Had the cheap one first. The difference is the magnet, honestly. This one just does not let go.

Sixty seconds, no software

No app. No pairing. No firmware update at 2am.

  1. 1

    Unfold

Three panels open. Set it anywhere flat.

  2. 2

    One cable, one socket

USB-C into your 20W plug. That is the whole install.

  3. 3

    Drop and forget

Magnets handle the alignment. Charging starts on contact.

Desk went from nine cables to one
Binned two chargers and a puck. Six weeks in, the phone has not slipped once.

Magnet is the real difference
Had a cheap one before. This holds through a chunky case. That is the whole thing.

Bring a 20W plug
Needs your own adapter. They say so upfront, which is more than the last one did.

BEFORE YOU BUY

The eight things people email us about

Written as the doubt, not the polite version of it.

Does a wall adapter come with it?

No. You need 18-20W USB-C to run three pads at full speed. Most people have one from a phone or tablet already. If you do not, ours is half price straight after you add to cart. We put this first because it is the number one thing people are annoyed about with every brand in this category.

Will it hold through my case?

Up to about 3mm, yes, and best with a MagSafe-compatible case. Metal cases block it. Card wallets and PopSockets sitting over the coil block it. Take the wallet off and it snaps on.

Will my earbuds charge on it?

Only if the case does wireless. AirPods Pro and the wireless AirPods cases do. The original wired-only case does not, and no pad ever made will change that. Look for an LED on the front of the case.

Does the watch pad fit a Galaxy or Garmin?

No. The pad is shaped for Apple Watch. Samsung, Garmin and Fitbit all use their own proprietary pucks. Phone and earbud pads still work normally if you use one of those.

Is it going to cook my phone overnight?

The thermal chip samples temperature and voltage continuously and cuts output before the surface gets warm. Foreign-object detection means a key or coin left on the pad does not turn into a hotspot.

Fifty quid for a charger?

It replaces three of them plus three cables, and frees two sockets. Bought separately that is more money and none of them fold. If the maths does not hold up after a month, send it back.

How long is shipping, honestly?

8-12 working days, tracked, free. Tracking link the moment it leaves. We are not going to promise next day and then miss it.

What if it dies in three months?

Twelve month warranty. Order number and a photo by email, we ship a replacement. You do not post the dead one anywhere first.
